Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Job Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Clinic Director, demonstrates proficiency in administering the fundamentals of the nursing process, contributes to the nursing assessment and the development of nursing care, and participates in the evaluation of nursing care. Shares responsibility for individual patients or an entire patient population.
Physical Requirements:
May be expected to lift up to 20-30 pounds occasionally. Ability to turn and move patient with minimal assistance (120lbs)
Ability to stand on feet for minimum of 8 hours a day.
OSHA Exposure Classification:
Job Category I. Task/activities does entail predictable or unpredictable exposer to blood or other body fluids to which universal precautions apply.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Ability:
Demonstrates eligibility for employment in the U.S
College degree and current State Licensure
Ability to relate and work effectively with others
Demonstrated skills in verbal, written English and public speaking ability
Is aware of professional standards, and regulations
