We currently have an exciting opportunity in Satellite Ground System Integration & Test to join our team located in Englewood, CO.
This position can also be located in San Diego, CA or Huntsville, AL.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Individual contributor supporting the Ground Segment IPT for assigned program.
Ensure integrated satellite simulation HWIL test bed solution comprised of internal, COTS, FOSS meets requirements and supports regression testing flight software deliveries
Support development of ICD, IDDs and test plans/procedures.
Collaborate with all levels of engineering staff on design, integration and test matters and support other teams/disciplines as necessary.
Ensures RVTM is in alignment with subsystem integration and verification plan for the space vehicle simulation test bed
Support development of space vehicle test bed integration and test plan
Develop and execute space vehicle test bed automated test scripts
Define integration test cases as part of plan
Maintain all space vehicle test bed electrical ground support equipment including hardware and software
Support pre-ops, and on-orbit anomaly resolution events utilizing the space vehicle test bed for troubleshooting (root-cause) of FSW and/ or hardware issues working closely with FSW and hardware SMEs to resolve issues
Support development of launch and early orbit mission planning and failure response scenarios
Support additional testing required by space vehicle SMEs in preparation for launch and early orbit operations
Support development of ground and operations related program documentation.
Develops training material for operational readiness.
Collaborates in design of new space systems including requirement alignment, conduct of design reviews, verification and test support
Troubleshoots, analyzes, and repairs systems in assigned area by utilizing standard engineering and scientific principles.
Follow solution/ product through all phases of the project as needed
Provides documentation and makes technical presentations as required.
Maintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:
Typically requires a bachelors degree, masters degree or PhD in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and progressive engineering experience as follows; six or more years of experience with a bachelors degree, four or more years of experience with a masters degree, or two or more years with a PhD. May substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of education.
Intermediate proficiency using Python to develop scripts for integration and testing
Ability to identify and incorporate existing libraries and other reuse baselines for efficiency
Experience with CI/CD pipeline a plus
Experience with launch and/or early orbit operations is a plus
Experience with space vehicle digital simulators is a plus
Experience working with electrical ground support equipment (both hardware and software) is a plus
Experience with all major space vehicle bus subsystems (GNC, Prop, EPS, CDH, RF)
Experience testing fault detection and response capabilities of flight software using space vehicle test bed
Prior experience as a systems integration and test engineer supporting development of satellite command and control and mission planning systems desirable.
Candidate will transition to supporting LEOP rehearsals, LEOP as they bring their experience from drafting operational readiness manuals to bear
Must possess the ability to understand new concepts quickly and apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment and organize work assignments to meet established timetables.
Good communication, computer, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
The ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance is required.
Must be able to work extended hours as required.
