Product Technology Manager, Google Shopping, APIs
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
3 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C, Python).
Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.
Preferred qualifications:
Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
Experience in an investigative role such as business intelligence, problem-solving or statistics.
Experience identifying business needs, defining, and building technical solutions to address business requirements in a startup environment.
Experience working with the eCommerce or advertising industry.
Experience planning and managing large-scale, technical projects and coordinating cross-functional project members to deliver quality results within the project deadlines with excellent relationship building, collaboration, consultation and influencing skills.

This role is in the gTech Users and Products (gUP) Shopping Partner Engineering team, focused on Google Business Profile and Google Merchant Center integrations, which power consumer experiences on Google Shopping and many other surfaces.
In this role, you will work with retail partnerships to achieve plans to grow the value merchants and users get from Google, while ensuring high data quality. You will collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to develop and improve Google’s products and tools and advocate the customer and partner experience for features and offering product and tools improvements backed by data-driven insights. You will partner with the Product Managers/Engineering team, Product Operations Managers and Global Sales and Partnerships teams to oversee the technical execution of Googles Commerce products from design and conceptualization to testing and deployment to drive customer/partner adoption and success.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$174,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Guarantee the technical aspects of a customer/partner’s integration by providing technical guidance and necessary documentation.
Provide technical subject matter expertise with partners for partner education, technical troubleshooting, and support within defined service level agreements.
Work with Product Managers and Partner Operations Managers to define and prioritize new product features and tools requests required to improve processes and performance.
Identify, drive, and optimize growth for new business opportunities by leveraging data and Google technologies, and improve product feature offerings by providing partner feedback to internal cross-functional teams, including Product Management and Engineering.
Perform implementation reviews, advocate for new product features, and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical issues and develop technical tools and documentation to expedite partner implementation, and improve operational scaling and product serviceability with Engineering.
