Work Type: This is a n On-Site role based out of Longmont, Colorado.

The Target Pay for this position is $21.20-24.90 an hour. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.

Job Purpose/Overview

Antech Diagnostics believes in a new approach to diagnostic testing where fast, accurate, simple, low-cost diagnostic tests will be run wherever and whenever they are needed, without compromise. Our proprietary LightDeck® platform combines an advanced laser waveguide with novel materials and patented manufacturing techniques to deliver lab-quality results anywhere, in minutes. The LightDeck platform is currently commercialized for water testing as well as veterinary diagnostics.

The Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for performing mechanical assembly as part of pilot-scale manufacturing of disposable medical devices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Correctly package product and prepare for shipment.

Visually inspect “in process” and “final” product assemblies to ensure quality of product.

Participate in inventory counts and audits; communicate findings from assigned tasks

Able to effectively operate at two or more workstations in the manufacturing area.

Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED

Previous Manufacturing Experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Prior “hands-on” mechanical assembly experience using hand tools and automated equipment required. Prior documented experience working in a controlled environment (ISO 13485, ISO 9001, or FDA Quality Management Systems) preferred.

Ability to carefully follow written standard operating procedures (SOPs), document production details accurately, and interpret quality control results for final product release.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Able to successfully work in a team environment.

Inventory control experience and Shipping/Receiving experience desirable.

Working Conditions

Work will normally be performed in a manufacturing/assembly environment which requires the donning of hair coverings, lab coats, PPE (protective eye wear). The work will be performed using mechanical and automated process equipment and will require standing, sitting, bending, twisting, lifting/carrying up to 25 pounds and monitoring outputs via visual inspection. Usage of phone, tablet and computer.

Temperature extremes will be minimal to nonexistent. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
