Job Title: Electrical Superintendent

Location: Colorado

Salary Range: $100,000 – $120,000 per year

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Electrical Superintendent to oversee the electrical operations of a 130 MW solar project in Colorado. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all electrical aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and leading a team of electricians and technicians. This role requires experience in solar energy systems, project management, and electrical engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the electrical installation and commissioning of the solar project, ensuring adherence to design specifications and project timelines.

Manage and coordinate the work of electricians, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure efficient and high-quality electrical work.

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution and address any electrical issues that arise.

Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.

Provide training and mentorship to electrical staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

Maintain accurate records of electrical work, including installations, inspections, and maintenance activities.

Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to solar energy and electrical systems.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).

Proven experience as an Electrical Superintendent or in a similar role, particularly in solar energy projects.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations, including NEC and OSHA standards.

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse workforce.

Proficient in project management tools and software.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
