Position Purpose
As a Professional Land Surveyor, you will work with entry level,
experienced survey professionals and other relevant support staff to provide
survey related services for client projects. Position ensures technical
portion of projects are executed in-line with our quality expectations and
standards that ultimately deliver on our strategy of providing an exceptional
client experience.
Essential Functions
Provide direction, review, and support to the survey group by leading
projects; assuring proper practices and techniques
Plans, organizes and manages project elements and manage multiple clients
Provide oral and written communication to project teams, clients and the
public
Plans, organizes, coordinates, prioritizes, assigns and monitors the
work of field survey crews
Manage multiple project teams in the field
Ensure compliance with safety standards
Utilize effective written and oral communication
Responsibilities
Survey to determine precise location and measurements of points,
elevations, lines, areas, and contours for construction, mapmaking,
land division, titles, mining or other surveying related purposes
Construction staking, planning, reports, maps, plats, deeds, local
geography, physical evidence, legal descriptions, and research
Responsible for accuracy of documents and deliverables completed by team
Instruct, train, and mentor crew members
May confer with project team members and clients to lead, prepare, and
participate in project proposals and interviews
Effectively manages and delivers projects on-time and on budget
Qualifications
Associate or bachelors degree in Land Surveying or equivalent survey field
experience
PLS certification
Must have a valid drivers license and be able to operate motorized vehicles
Hours and Travel
This position requires the individual work 40 hours per week with 95% of
the time spent in the field and 5% in the office.

Frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to
75 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color
vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

$85,000 – $105,000 per year depending on applicable experience and
