Position Announcement

Provides student, employee, and customer service support for the Bursars Office. Assists students, public, and campus employees with payments, account issues, department deposits, and questions.

Summary of Responsibilities

Provides comprehensive customer service to students, the public, and employees campus-wide. Reviews student accounts and advises students regarding payment options and financial policies. Acts as a resource in resolving departmental deposit and student account issues. Applies charges and/or payments received from the window, mail, dropbox, and phone to the student account. Reconciles daily transactions and prepares funds for bank deposits. Maintains secure vault operations. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or its equivalent and two years experience.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Knowledge

• Knowledge of monies control and security.

• Knowledge of basic accounting processes and procedures.

• Complete understanding of confidentiality and right to privacy issues.

Skills

• Skills in the use of computers and software applications.

• Communication and customer service skills.

Abilities

• Ability to manage funds, reconcile, and analyzing account information.

• Ability to follow directions and work well under pressure.

• Ability to perform required tasks with precision and accuracy.

• Must be detail-oriented.
