The Bioprocess DBS Leader – Cell Culture Business Unit for Cytiva is responsible for leading, promoting and facilitating the successful implementation of the Danaher Business System (DBS) at Cytiva / Danaher Biotechnology Group (BTG), allowing those businesses to meet their Policy Deployment (PD), Core Value Driver (CVD) and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets by partnering with the Cell Culture Business Unit VP/GM to architect and enable thoughtful deployment of DBS tools within the Cell Culture Business Unit leadership team to ensure the team drives sustainable results.

This position is part of the Cytiva Bioprocess DBS located in United States and will be remote. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

Use the 8 signs of leading with DBS to drive tangible improvement in CVD/KPIs across the Cell Culture Business Unit leadership team aligned with the Cell Culture Business Unit’s strategy and priorities

Ensure impactful kaizen events within the Cell Culture Business Unit by installing and ensuring compliance to the kaizen process, including planning of kaizen events with a funnel review process tied to PD, CVDs and KPIs, kaizen event execution and sustainment of kaizens

Partner with the Cell Culture Business Unit VP/GM and leadership team to identify gaps in DBS capability/capacity based on the critical few prioritized business needs and manage the Certified Practitioner funnel for the Cell Culture Business Unit

Partner with the Cell Culture Business Unit VP/GM to own the monthly BU L2 PD Ops meetings. Ownership defined as: Schedule, agenda, communication, material collection/consolidate/dissemination, meeting AP, etc.

Architect results through the thoughtful deployment of STRAT Enablement and the DBS Functional Engines (i.e., Innovation, Commercial, etc.) and associated HVx/Playbooks, SxR and DBS tools

Who you are:

BSc degree in Science, Strategic Management, Project Management, or equivalent required.

5 years of people leadership experience with demonstrated success in driving results with DBS

Demonstrated ability to accurately assess key business metrics and situations from a “general manager’s” point of view

Direct experience in working with technology, product management, strategy and business development organizations to drive innovation and competitive growth

Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and implement a DBS roadmap for an operating business

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

Ability to travel 50%

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Demonstrated commitment to DBS Fundamentals, holding a CP or ACP in VSM, TPI, PSP, and Daily Management

The salary range for this role is $150,000.00 – $185,000.00 USD Annual. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
