At Spartronics, the Supply Chain Manager is responsible for driving innovative supply chain management strategies, actions, and initiatives to ensure the site will meet or exceed all strategic goals and objectives, plus ensure customer satisfaction. You will effectively lead the Planning, Purchasing, and Inventory Control Teams to ensure corporate and plant goals and objectives are met for each of these departments.  

What a Day Looks Like: 

– Lead, manage, and facilitate a high-performing Supply Chain Organization, which includes Purchasing, Planning, and Inventory Control Departments, deliver enterprise expertise to Spartronics Integrated Supply Chain.
– Ensure compliance with ITAR, FAR/DFAR, and other relevant international trade regulations in all procurement and supply chain activities. 
– Lead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional procurement team, fostering alignment with corporate goals, compliance, and industry best practices. 
– Drive and foster a positive and collaborative team culture focused on continuous improvement and supply chain operational excellence.  
– Own and manage SCM KPIs and metrics, developing and implementing tools, systems, and processes to track and improve performance, ensuring goals and objectives are met. 
– Drive the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Supply Chain strategies, processes and procedures, systems, and tools. 
– Act as the primary customer interface for all SCM-related communication and issues, maintaining strong relationship management. 
– Ensure timely, accurate planning strategies for production, materials, and inventory control, including capacity planning, to maximize resource utilization, minimize overtime, and ensure on-time delivery. 
– Communicate any major changes to the production schedule/plan to various departments, securing approvals, and authorizations as required. 
– Support Quality Assurance in resolving supplier issues, performing audits, and preparing supplier scorecards. 
– Manage the administration of site purchasing contracts and agreements. 
– Drive and manage to achieve materials profit and loss goals, 
– Escalation support for Buyers as required for sourcing issues and negotiating activities as required 
– Manage and innovate Vendor Managed Inventory Programs 
– Management of materials inventory levels to meet company inventory turns goals/objectives and inventory accuracy to meet company goals/objectives, including minimization of excess and obsolete inventory. 
– Drive materials inventory accuracy via cycle counts or physical inventory counts to meet company goals and objectives. 
– Support Quality Assurance for supplier issues resolution, assisting in performing supplier audits as required, plus assist to prepare, distribute and follow-up on supplier scorecards 
– Provide guidance on customer and supplier quotations utilizing appropriate negotiation and purchasing techniques to ensure quality, price, delivery, and service, as required 
– Oversee contract negotiation and manage agreements to ensure timely deliveries and alignments with legal, financial, and operational goals. 
– Participate in or manage project excess and obsolete and / or end of life processes. 
– Develop, maintain, and communicate policies and procedures pertaining to the planning, purchasing and inventory control functions, plus provide effective policy leadership and direction.   
– Lead a continuous improvement environment by applying lean manufacturing principles and driving performance enhancements. 
– Other duties as assigned. 

### Requirements

 Education & Certifications 

– Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred;  an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. 
– Minimum of Five years of experience in planning, purchasing and inventory control s required, 10 years is preferred, ideally in manufacturing, aerospace, or electronics. 
– Lean Six-Sigma (Green/Black belt) certification preferred. APICS certification (CPIM, CPM, CPSM, CSCP) is also a plus. 

Knowledge Skills & Abilities 

– Experience in Contract Manufacturing, especially with complex electronics, electromechanical devices, circuit card assemblies, and printed circuit boards, is a plus. 
– Proficiency in Excel, ERP/MRP systems for managing planning, purchasing, and inventory control. 
– Strong leadership, management, and negotiation skills with a proven ability to work collaboratively in high-performance, team-based environments. 
– Ability to negotiate with customers and suppliers as required. 
– Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to build trust and alliances across departments and stakeholders. 
– Ability to write contracts, agreements, reports, and procedures, with a keen attention to detail. 
– Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word). 

Requirements  

– All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. Green Card Holder), Political Asylee, or Refugee. We can not provide visa sponsorship.   
– Able to work onsite (this is not a remote or hybrid position) in Logan, UT.
– Ability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
