Responsibilities Job Summary The Analyst works closely with the Drug Inventory and Information Systems Coordinator and Director of Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Services to support the service line and ensure HonorHealths pharmaceutical supply chain, clinical, and operational performance goals are met. The Analyst will perform regular audits and quality assurance tasks through the general collection, analysis and visualization of data related to pharmacy operations with specific emphasis on Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) opportunities. In addition to helping coordinate medication inventories, this position will also serve as a resource and mentor for pharmacy buyers and automation technicians, assisting as backup to these rolls as needed. Responsible for collection and analysis of pharmaceutical supply data, development and presentation of such content and various analysis as needed to support pharmaceutical supply chain, clinical, and operational performance goals. Participate in cost containment strategies and provide analytic data needed to monitor and trend the initiatives. Publish quality analytics to include weekly or monthly dashboards, incorporate industry benchmarks to illustrate baseline metrics and current state when publishing charts, graphs, pivot tables and other diagrams. Assists with the review, implementation and maintenance of physical and software solutions related to pharmacy operations. Including but not limited to inventory management and automation systems. Monitor inventory tracking solutions to ensure product availability and supply integrity across the health system. Assists with drug shortage management, helps identify and implement optimal product selection based on available contracts/rebates and regularly reviews min/max levels to ensure on hand product is minimized with limited impact to operations. Assist pharmacy supply chain team with drug recalls, pharmaceutical reverse distribution, processing of non-returnable items with the approved waste management company and Drug Supply and Security Act (DSCSA) regulatory requirements. Participates in and assists with pharmaceutical inventories. Performs buyer/automation responsibilities for support as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education High School Diploma or GED Required Experience 1 year Analyst or equivalent experience Required Licenses and Certifications Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPT) Required
