Facility Maintenance Coordinator

Purpose and Scope:
Amentum is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator at Creech Airforce Base who reports to the contract Operations Manager. The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator will provide assistance with the approval, submission and tracking of work orders in regard to buildings and installed equipment. The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator will ensure identification of environmental concerns including coordination, planning, and arranging repairs through local vendors.
Essential Responsibilities:
Serves as the primary customer contact for all Facility work orders and repairs.
Responsible for the approval, submission and tracking of work orders, to include updates on completed work orders and/or cancellations.
Maintains the Facility Work Order Tracking System, and automated Web Site.
Responsible for the tracking and submission of Contract Requirements List to the government on a weekly basis.
Coordinates repairs on installed equipment and Facilities in the Maintenance and Supply areas.
Coordinates and supervises maintenance and repair with local vendors for items not covered by the contract.
Escorts local vendors, obtain temporary badges onto contract site for repairs, prepare timecards for local vendors work, and track hours.
Maintain blueprints, drawings, as-builts, schematics, and other documentation.
Responds to common inquiries or complaints from customer or other groups.
Maintains ISO 9000-2001 compliant standard operating procedure and work instructions for the Facility Work Orders and procedures.
Responsible for following up on all finished projects with both the requestor and the contractor.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
High School diploma.
Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
Six years’ experience in facility management or civil engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Familiarity with facility and installed equipment preferred.
Knowledge of construction trades terminology and functions.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
Ability to work with a diverse workforce.
Experience with records maintenance.
Knowledge in writing SOP’s, Plans, Work Instructions and Project orders is desired.
Excellent communicator both in writing and verbally.
Qualify for and maintain a government security clearance.
Possess a valid state issued driver’s license.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
Work is performed in a variety of settings including an office environment, warehouse, and outside. This position requires travel and physical exertion at various times. Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 30-40 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.
