The Digital Content Management Specialist plays a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing organizational knowledge management process at WelbeHealth. This role is part of the Training and Adoption team and is responsible for overseeing the content lifecycle, ensuring efficient information flow, and maintaining the integrity of WelbeHealth’s institutional knowledge within SharePoint. The Digital Content Management Specialist partners closely with the Change Management team as the business owner of WelbeHealth’s growing intranet platform, along with the IT team supporting the administration, management, design, and implementation of SharePoint-related business processes, providing automation and efficiency to users.
Essential Job Duties
Assist in developing and actively participate in implementation of a comprehensive content management strategy aligned with the company’s goals.
Partner in establishing governance policies, guidelines, and best practices for content creation, organization, and maintenance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance across all content.
Oversee / facilitate content managers development plans in partnership with Workforce Learning and Performance.
Serve as the primary content administrator for our SharePoint environment.
Advise and assist users in configuring and customizing SharePoint libraries, lists, and workflows with appropriate metadata and views.
Partner with IT on managing permissions, access controls, and user roles.
Lead content creation efforts, including writing, editing, and curating materials.
Work closely with subject matter experts to capture and document institutional knowledge.
Ensure content is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
Maintain and continue to expand a robust taxonomy to organize content effectively.
Monitor and enforce metadata tagging and classification to enhance searchability and discoverability.
Partner with Applications Trainers to conduct training sessions for employees on SharePoint usage, content management, and best practices.
Foster user adoption by promoting the benefits of SharePoint as the central repository for institutional knowledge and creating a consistent, intuitive end-user experience.
Monitor content performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
Stay informed about industry trends, SharePoint updates, and emerging technologies
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field, relevant professional experience may be substituted.
Minimum of three years of experience in content management, within at least two years focused on SharePoint.
Proficiency in SharePoint administration, including site creation, permissions management, and customization.
Strong understanding of content lifecycle, taxonomies, and metadata.
Excellent writing abilities with strong affinity for creating compelling messaging across various channels.
Ability to translate editorial content into visually appealing materials with multimedia components.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams

Salary/Wage base range for this role is $74,612 – $89,535 / year Bonus Equity. WelbeHealth offers competitive total rewards package that includes, 401k match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other qualifications.
