Summary: Performs simple and complex laboratory test procedures in the Clinical Laboratories. Routine job functions include specimen acceptance, accessioning, processing, performance of testing and quality control procedures, the use of various laboratory testing systems and information systems for result generation, reporting, and documentation.

Salary range for this position is $64,772 – $74,135 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package. This position also offers an assignment differential of $4.00 hourly and a geographic differential of $4.60 hourly for a total compensation range of $82,709 – $92,072 annually

Qualifications:Required Education and Experience

1. Possession of a full license to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in the State of New York; or
2. Bachelors degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology or a related health care discipline and eligibility for full licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in the State of New York.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have the following skills/experiences:

  • Current NYS Licensure/Eligibility
  • Previous/current experience in Chemistry, Hematology, Transfusion, Microbiology, or other specific laboratory disciplines
  • Previous/current experience in an oncology setting
  • Other relevant experience applicable to laboratory operations
  • Previous/current experience in a customer service setting
