Job Details:
Full-time Maintenance Technician position available at a mid-sized apartment complex. We are looking for a hardworking, driven individual with strong customer service skills.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Complete maintenance requests – requiring mechanical aptitude in the following: Plumbing; Flooring; Drywall; Electrical; General Carpentry
Maintain a high level of customer service, including communicating effectively with residents, co-workers, and vendors.
On-call responsibilities when assigned (rotating schedule with other staff)
Snow Removal
Education/Experience:
No specific level of education is required. A minimum of one to two years of previous experience or comparable experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance or a related trade.
Technical Competencies/Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions:
Valid Driver’s License and dependable transportation, current automobile insurance and acceptable driving record.
Spend 90% of time performing hands on repairs/maintenance/turnover work. Able to transport/move a minimum of 50 lbs. variable distances.
Ability to work outdoors in temperatures exceeding 90 degrees or below 10 degrees Fahrenheit.
