Enrollment representatives within Cornells colleges, schools, and units regularly collaborate and partner with the Enrollment Division to accomplish the Universitys enrollment goals.
The Admissions & Scholarship team at the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management is charged with attracting, selecting, and matriculating the highest caliber of diverse students in the MBA (Master of Business Administration) program.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Director of Operations for Admissions and Scholarship, the Admissions and Application Coordinator-International Lead serves as the initial point of contact for prospective students interested in Johnsons Two-Year Residential MBA program. In the role, you will contribute to the enhancement of the application process and the student enrollment experience for Two-Year applicants. Specifically, the Admissions Application Coordinator-International Lead is responsible for maintaining accurate application records in Salesforce, ensuring that applications are prepared for committee evaluation according to strict deadlines.
As the Admissions and Applications Coordinator-International Lead, you will:
- Provide a high level of personalized service to inquiries and applicants.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of application requirements, admissions policies, academic programs, career resources, and student activities across all Residential MBA programs.
- Educate prospective students on program options by conducting pre-application consultations and connecting them with relevant university stakeholders.
- Actively engage prospective students from inquiry to application submission via phone, email, and through participating in monthly online “Ask Admissions” chats.
- Serve as a primary contact and subject matter expert for our international student population and assists with processing student visas.
Hours and Location
This hybrid position includes four days on the Ithaca Campus in Sage Hall and one day remote. Core business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, with the expectation of flexibility for coverage of occasional evening or weekend recruitment events on campus, sometimes resulting in overtime pay.

- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.
- Must have experience and be comfortable using a CRM and office software technologies.
If you have all those things, great! We have a few more things that we would prefer you to have, but its ok if you dont.
- A Bachelors degree or equivalent with at least one to two years but less than five years of admissions experience.
- Previous experience using admissions CRMs and technologies such as Salesforce, PeopleSoft, Hobsons ApplyYourself, Linvio, Sumo, and Image Now systems.
