Position Summary
Glassport LTSR is long-term structured mental health residence with an in-house treatment component. Glassport LTSR serves 12 adult males with a forensic history and mental health needs. The goal of the LTSR program is to provide multi-disciplinary clinical interventions to clients served to support successful community transition and reintegration.
The therapist will provide individual, group, and family therapies to adult men in a long-term structured residential setting using evidence-based practices in addiction-substance use disorders, mental health diagnosis and other areas as required by program.
Therapy staff complete an initial psychosocial assessment, develop and implement treatment goals, provide individual, family and group counseling and coordinate with program support staff to identify and secure additional services and resources based on client needs.
Part- Time 16-24 hours
Essential Duties and Functions
Therapy
Conduct intake assessments including recommendations for treatment
Provide individual, group and family therapies to people with mental health and substance abuse issues.
Caseload management
Maintain active caseload including engaging individuals in ongoing treatment.
Maintain tracking system for treatment plans, and other required documents to meet program funder guidelines and program goals.
Participate in clinical group meetings regarding ongoing treatment goals, progress and discharge as needed.
Administrative
Enter documentation into electronic medical records in accordance with agency guidelines.
Qualifications
Masters degree from an accredited college or university in a human service field.
Two years experience providing direct therapy in the area of mental health, substance use or IDD.
Familiar with standard business computer software programs and electronic Health Care Database programs.
ACT 33/34 clearances if required by program
FBI clearance, as needed
Medical clearance – physical, TB test and Hepatitis B titer – required prior to hire
