We are hiring a Quality Operations Planner I to join our Westinghouse Parts Business in New Stanton, PA. This individual will perform various assignments and related on-site scheduling and planning duties within a highly technical engineering environment, and most duties will be related to quality, operations, and technical planning and scheduling.This position must prepare and process technical documents following standard work procedures. Additional job duties for this position reflect the specific nature of the Quality Operations department. The desired candidate will work under limited supervision for routine situations. Requires basic knowledge of job procedures or relies on limited experience.
This is an anchor position that is required to be on site in New Stanton five days a week.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, format, and transmit technical documents to support quality operations and production processes. Responsible for transmitting deliverables to internal customers.
Develop comprehensive schedules that align with the required scope, available area capacity, and material availability to ensure efficient project execution.
Enter and monitor service requests for procurement, training updates, or other requests and manage orders or requests until receipt, ensuring the flow of final deliverable is timed to meet requirements.
Assist Quality Manager with on-site secure process controls for special projects and programs.
Plan and monitor internal and external customer site visits, manage site escorts as required, and provide site safety information to ensure visitor compliance with site safety requirements.
Plan and coordinate system access requests, safety reviews, and other on-site actions to meet schedule requirements for operations and production.
Monitor schedules and analyze data to ensure deliverables are generated on time. Follow-up with responsible personnel to reinforce schedule requirements.
Maintain working knowledge of quality, safety, and security procedures.
Prepare tables, graphs, figures, and metrics as assigned for Quality Operations.
Who You Are:
Associates degree in business or technical discipline required. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
1-3 years planning and scheduling experience.
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
SAP or ERP system experience required
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to consistently apply high levels of attention to detail
Nuclear industry experience preferred
