Gaven Industries manufactures highly engineered systems for electromagnetic and RF shielding including solutions for IEMI, EMI, RFI, and HEMP/EMP. Our diverse customer base is spread across multiple verticals with thousands of government and commercial customers worldwide. We are looking for a Production Planner / Scheduler to join our growing team!

Duties:
Develop and maintain production schedules to meet demand and optimize operational efficiency leveraging ERP Infor/SyteLine;
Understand project scope and identifying tasks/activities
Sequence work packages/activities and estimating activity duration
Establish and track critical path and total project duration
Address issues as they arise aiming for minimal disruption
Release job orders and associated documents
Run and manage shortage and performance reports
Perform schedule control by analyzing critical path, planned value, earned value, schedule variance, and recommending corrective actions
Work with Supply Chain Management and Production Manager to ensure production runs smoothly; collaborate on safety stocks and reorder points
Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Program Management, and other staff
Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
2 years of proven production planning experience and change management
Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying information clearly
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Experience of ERP / MRP systems Infor / Syteline preferred
Good at math, statistics metrics, and problem solving
Fully familiar with resource allocation and levelling techniques as well as earned value analysis
Ability to manage, organize, and prioritize production to meet competing deadlines Education/Experience:

Bachelors degree in operations management, supply chain management, engineering, business administration, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
