Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Work alongside the Global Quality Group Engineers to improve processes using Lean activities such as time studies, value stream mapping, and Kaizen events
Manage multiple tasks, solve technical problems, and work efficiently in cross-functional teams
Develop and maintain data dashboards using Microsoft Power BI
Co-manage projects originating from supplier, customer, or product quality concerns to provide root cause and corrective actions. Responsibilities for each quality team may include the following:
Customer Quality
Collect, analyze, and communicate product group data to drive problem solving efforts and project prioritization via technical reporting
Support Engineering re-design efforts to enhance customer experience and decrease the cost of poor quality
Develop process improvement tools to increase customer data reporting efficiency
Product Quality
Support preventative quality investigations through failure mode effect analysis. FMEA
Prepare historical data reports and support design assurance activities for design team as needed throughout the New Product Development NPD process.
Support plant quality in developing and implementing quality systems for new products.
Supplier Quality
Collect, analyze, and communicate product group data to drive problem solving efforts and project prioritization via technical reporting
Support Engineering re-design efforts to enhance customer experience
Develop process improvement tools to increase customer data reporting efficiency
Qualifications
Experience required:
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Knowledge of statistical tools and their application
Project management skills
Strong organizational skills
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Experience preferred:
Knowledge of Minitab
Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI
Education required:
Incumbent must be actively pursuing a Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other relevant Engineering degree, from an ABET-accredited program, and have completed at least one semester of sophomore year.
