Shift: 3p-11:30pm; Rotating Weekends & Holidays

All Acute Care Adult Specialty units offer enhanced technology to assist with nursing care, including patient lifts, hands-free communication, virtual whiteboards, and telemetry monitoring capability.

Primary Patient Population:
Variety of complex medical disorders
Telemetry
Primary skills utilized/learned:
Assisting patients with all aspects of personal hygiene, eating & drinking
Answering call lights & taking vital signs (i.e. temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, height, weight, and other parameters as instructed).
Performing/transmitting basic ECG and phlebotomy.
Personnel RN will work with :
LPNs, Registered Nurses, Nurse Interns, Providers, PT/OT, WOCN
Number of beds on unit:
34 beds (14 private rooms, 10 semi-private rooms)

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam.
Ability to work in a team environment while demonstrating good judgment, flexibility, initiative, and effectively problem-solving skills.
Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Registered in good standing as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) with the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Nurse Aide Registry (NOTE: Maintaining ODH Registry status as a STNA is optional after employment in this position).
1 year of experience as a Patient Care Nurse Assistant in a hospital.
