New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG), a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources is seeking a Fleet Supervisor to assist the Manager of Fleet Services in overseeing the daily operations of the vehicle fleet, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and efficiency.

Major Responsibilities:

Assist Manager of Fleet Services with the daily garage operations.

Supervise all fleet technicians ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

Monitor fleet performance and ensure vehicles are well-maintained, serviced and repaired as needed.

Assist in maintaining detailed records of vehicle maintenance.

Assist in the implementation of cost-saving measures to improve fleet efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Collaborate with other departments to meet business needs and customer demands.

Position Specifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in logistics transportation or related field is preferred.

At least 4 years of experience in fleet management or a similar role.

Extensive knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes.

Ability to meet deadlines and work independently is required.

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Complete a DOT medical exam.
