The Atlantic Mobile Health Department is proud to announce the establishment of the Emergency Medical Technician Trainee program. The goal of the program is to provide selected candidates with the necessary training to become a certified EMT. Trainees will undergo 10 weeks of paid full-time field and classroom training to meet state requirements for EMT certification.
Successful completion of the program will lead Trainees to transition into full time EMT roles within Atlantic Health System.
Now accepting applications for the February 3, 2025 class
Our EMT’s are responsible for:
Providing pre-hospital care to sick/injured patients
Providing inter-facility medical transportation
Assisting in emergency scenarios
Education:
High School Diploma required
Experience:
Customer service experience preferred
Healthcare experience preferred
License/Certifications:
Valid driver’s license, free of driving restrictions
