Job Description
AbbVie’s Talent Acquisition organization has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Recruiter to support the US Therapeutics-Neuroscience & Eyecare organization.
This position will work a hybrid work schedule from the Florham Park, NJ AbbVie location.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment focus is on the US Therapeutics, Commercial function for AbbVie, or other areas as assigned.
Responsible for attracting top talent and developing a strong, qualified candidate pool for current and future openings.
Other job duties include pre-screening candidates, project management in various functional areas at any given time, partnering with team members to manage sourcing strategies and supplying talent for open positions.
Core responsibility is to manage open job requisitions, source, screen and present top slates of candidates, update and manage Taleo ATS, achieve recruiting metrics and report key accomplishments. Will also compile and communicate the knowledge base, industry overviews, and market trends to team members and business leaders.
Oversee the Debrief process. Trusted advisor that supplies direct feedback to the hiring team and influences hiring decisions.
Will prepare and approve offer packages, supplying equity & market competitiveness data research.
Ensure compliance to state/federal employment laws and AbbVie policies and practices for applicant tracking compliance and reporting metrics.
Establish a true business partnership with hiring managers and leadership on all staffing related activities and issues.
Significant Work Activities: Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hr day) is required
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree Required
Minimum 3-5 years recruitment experience in a competitive, demanding environment.
Initiative-taking recruiting and sourcing experience.
High-volume recruitment ability.
Must project strong business partnership, negotiation and project management experience.
Trusted advisor with the ability to influence leadership.
Comfortable with tracking and pulling data relating to market insights and compensation.
Preferred:
Healthcare/Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology and/or Medical Device industry recruitment experience strongly preferred.
Prefer 7 years of recruiting experience.
Experience in managing requisitions within Taleo ATS

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.

Salary: $80,500 – $153,000
