Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a contract Scientist I for our Pharmaceutical partner in Morristown, NJ.

The anticipated wage for this position is $52- $53 hourly. Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Must Have: • Advanced Desired masters in social science Anthro, Psychology is preferred qualitative background (behavioral science field a plus) • Bachelors Degree candidates will be considered however, 3 years of experience in related role. Advance degree is strongly preferred • Experience with quantitative research and quantitative, design and interpretation • Familiar with coding qualitative and thematic analysis • Experience with patient journey studies, consumer preference studies – not interested in clinical studies, manager is interested in candidate who have experience with Qualitative IDI, longitudinal studies • Advanced degree, Minimum, 1 years of experience in related role, additional years of experience above this is welcomed Nice to have Skills: • Regulated or consumer health care, previous experience with government agencies (plus) • PRO – Patient Reported Out comes • Behavior Frameworks into study design and interpretation. (strong nice to have)

Hybrid Role

Reporting to the Head of Behavioral Science, the Behavioral Science Associate will work closely with key scientific teams across Consumer Healthcare to drive behavioral science principles and capabilities into the execution of key projects in a growing behavioral science team. This role will be responsible for ensuring methodological rigor both when developing new studies and consulting on current studies to address behavioral outcomes.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of a wide variety of methodologies (quant, qual, mixed methods) to address behavioral science questions and an understanding of the applicability and context of each study’s inherent strengths and weaknesses

• Understanding of interpretation of behavioral outcomes, preferably with their applicability in regulatory and health authority current context

• Passion for increasing the adoption/utilization of the patient/consumer voice in evidence generation activities

• Strong qualitative skills (interview design, coding, thematic analysis) with training and experiencing in qualitative interviewing a preferred qualification

• Strong quantitative skills (e.g., survey design and analyses).

• Experience with utilization and development of Patient Reported Outcomes (PROs) and other patient outcomes research a plus

Formal Education And Experience Required:

• Scientific degree with relevant training or experience in study methodology; Advanced scientific degree (i.e. MD, PhD, MPH, MSc) with related experience in relevant behavioral science field a plus

• Experience in relevant scientific methodologies concerning behavioral studies, including patient journey studies, consumer preference studies, multi-criteria decision analysis studies, etc.

• Passion for consumer healthcare is highly desirable

Pay Details: $52.00 to $53.00 per hour
