We are searching for a Vice President of Sales to drive revenue growth and expand the company’s market share through effective sales strategies and leadership. This role will oversee the sales team, sales processes, and metrics for success, ensuring alignment with the companys goals and objectives. The VP of Sales will report directly to the SVP of Customer Experience(CX), and collaborate closely with the executive team to identify market opportunities, enhance customer relationships, and optimize sales performance.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market growth
Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture and drive accountability
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team, ensuring consistent monitoring and reporting
Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders, leveraging relationships for referrals and customer satisfaction
Identify new market opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on emerging trends and customer needs
Collaborate with marketing to execute sales campaigns, promotions, and lead-generation initiatives
Conduct regular meetings with sales professionals to assess progress, share best practices, and address challenges
Oversee negotiation and closing of high-value contracts, monitoring competitive landscape to inform sales strategies
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales leadership and business development roles, within a financial technology or Software as a Service (SaaS) environment
Strong understanding of the financial industry, customer needs, and competitive dynamics
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to develop actionable plans for growth
Experience in designing and implementing sales processes and best practices
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities
