Electrician

PeopleReady Skilled Trades is looking for experienced Electricians for night-time commercial work for sites located in and around the Fort Lauderdale area. Sites last anywhere from a few days to a few weeks and are sporadic.

Note: The hourly rate for this position is $25 – $27 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employees pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.

Responsibilities:

Measuring, cutting, and bending wire and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools

Maintaining tools, vehicles, and equipment and keeping parts and supplies in order

Performing semiskilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment

Following state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code

 Qualification:

Minimum of 5 years of recent commercial electrical project experience

Possess tools of the trade

Reliable transportation to and from job sites on a nightly basis

Ability to work nights Experience bending pipe
