Job Description Summary
The Edison Works Transformation team is an organization focused on contemporizing today’s business processes with sustainable digital solutions, thus enabling strategic process transformation. In partnership with functional stakeholders and our Digital Technology (DT), this organization is responsible for driving transformation of the GE Edison Works Supply Chain.
As the manufacturing process transformation leader, you will lead a team of experts in manufacturing and quality processes to execute the charter of leaning out and contemporizing Edison Works supply chain. You will lead the implementation of assembly and component shop Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) capabilities and supplier quality management (SQM) solutions in line with model-based manufacturing (MBM) objectives. The role will engage with supply chain stakeholders across part families, shop operations, materials, and quality, partnering with DT and other strategic transformation pillars.
You will be responsible for comprehensively defining all relevant shop floor operations and quality requirements, use process maps to clarify requirements to Digital team, coordinate creation of acceptance criteria for each requirement, document requirements, build consensus on prioritization and coverage of requirements in product roadmap.

Roles and Responsibilities
Provide leadership to your team of project leaders to ensure successful completion of project scope.
Define business processes, value stream maps , etc. to be used by the manufacturing and quality community.
Use flight deck and lean process improvement methodologies, expertise, and judgement to creatively address complicated and/or interdependent processes, develop execution plans and communicate benefits/risk.
Collaborate will the DT organization to document, prioritize, develop, test and accept solutions, to support the manufacturing and quality user community.
Manage contractor and system integrator resources to accelerate implementation and leverage industry best practices.
Use judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing technology. Takes new perspective on existing solutions.
Build and execute governance structures that ensure stakeholder input is considered and data driven decisions are made.
Drive processes that identify risks, communicate difficult concepts, identify options, and drive consensus with teams that may hold different points of view.
Build consensus with stakeholders on product roadmaps in support of Edison Works manufacturing and quality processes.
Partner with DT in deploying testing methodology to validate solution functionality and user readiness, before deployment to manufacturing sites
Ensure team is utilizing organizational change management techniques to maximize engagement and adoption.
Develop resource requirements and budget requests to support execution of projects.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree accredited college or university Minimum of 5 years of engine assembly, component manufacturing, or aviation quality shop floor management/process improvement experience
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen
Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Experience implementing lean process improvement and/or flight deck tools.
Experience with the use and/or implementation of iBASEt Solumina’s Manufacturing Operations Management solution.
Experience in manufacturing and quality functions.
General experience with functional advisement for the implementation of a Tier 1 enterprise software application.
Involvement in digital transformation efforts.
Prior experience with component MBoM, Routing, Work Instruction creation/maintenance and/or product lifecycle management.
