Job Description
Review First Report of Injury forms and medical records to determine proper actions under Workers’ Compensation laws and regulations.
Obtain background information as part of the claim investigation; review and pay related medical bills, and maintain monetary case reserves to cover medical costs and projected miscellaneous and compensation costs.
Use appropriate cost containment techniques, including strategic vendor partnerships to reduce the overall cost of claims. Manage claim recoveries of all types, including but not limited to, subrogation and social security offsets.
Prepare necessary state filings within statutory limits.
Communicate verbally and in writing with injured employees, their employers, physicians, and other interested parties.
Review established claims periodically.
Analyze complex data, including medical reports.
Analyze the financial implications for the company.

This is a hybrid position. 2-3 days a week from home.
