Timber Cutter / Logger

Kendrick, Inc. is a leading in sustainable forestry and timber production. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Timber Cutter/Logger to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in timber harvesting, a strong commitment to safety, and a passion for forestry. The Timber Cutter/Logger will be responsible for cutting down trees, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring the safe and efficient removal of timber from designated areas.
Duties
– Operate chainsaws and other equipment to fell trees and harvest timbers efficiently.
– Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
– Demonstrate mechanical knowledge for equipment and tool maintenance.
– Assist with the planning and execution of timber cutting operations.
– Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.
– Maintain records of work performed and materials used.
Requirements
– Previous experience as a timber cutter/logger.
– Knowledge of timber harvesting techniques and equipment.
– Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and rugged terrain.
– Strong understanding of safety practices in forestry.
– Good physical stamina and capability to handle physically demanding tasks.
– Valid drivers license; certification in chainsaw operation a plus.
Pay is based on experience and production.
