Construction Wireman

Our client is currently seeking Construction Wiremen for immediate openings in Davenport, IA.

Main duties include but are not limited to:

Assisting journey-level electricians with the installation of light fixtures

Performing material handling on the jobsite

Installing and bending conduit using manual, mechanical, and hydraulic benders

Perform wire and cable pulls

Qualifications:

Previous experience in the construction or electrical industry is not required

Familiarity with electrical tools and machinery

Reliable transportation to get to the construction site and from job to job

Regular attendance, timeliness when given tasks and arrive to work on time – Required

Ability to follow safety protocols, OSHA requirements, and wear PPE (Safety gear) on site

Desire to learn in a hands on environment with awareness of other jobsite activities

Attention to detail, and ability to follow instruction
