Concrete Quality Control

JOB REQUIREMENTS: This position is responsible for providing customers,
sales, and operations staff with operational support and guidance
through product and technical knowledge. Job duties include but are not
limited to: – Performing Quality Control Duties as Needed and Assigned
such as slump tests, air tests, and concrete temperature readings at
Plant and/or customer job sites. – Inspect, sort, sample, or weigh
material – Direct the operation of a ready-mix concrete plant including
the supervision of mixer drivers and plant maintenance to ensure quality
and timely delivery of concrete to customers. – Safety – Operations –
Maintenance – Production – Inventory Control – Environmental
Compliance – Support and Supervision of the Plant Employees
OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: General Qualifications: –
Mechanical Skills – Computer Knowledge – Effective Communication
Skills – Good Aptitude for Logistics, Planning, and Scheduling – Basic
Mathematical Skills – Valid Drivers License Knowledge of the following
is a plus, but not required: – Concrete raw-material properties and
characteristics – Concrete performance and properties – Mix designs
