Responsibilities: – Use wire feed welder to weld cleats and apron plates
together according to bill of materials – Measure and lay out holes and
locations for welded components – Adjust welder as needed to accommodate
varying thicknesses of steel – Operate grinder, drill, band saw and
crane as assigned – Maintain a safe and well-organized work
environment – Ensure work is completed in a timely manner and on
schedule – Use MIG wire feed welder, weld cleats to apron plates of
hinged steel belts, set-up MIG welder for casings and tanks for our
small to mid-size conveyor products – Maintain a safe and well-organized
work area – Ensure work is completed in a timely manner and on schedule
OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: – Ability to read and
interpret documents such as bills of material, drawings, safety rules,
operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals – Ability
to communicate effectively one-on-one with other employees of the
organization – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all
unites of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
