We are looking for a Child Support Systems Business Analyst who will join our DDI team developing a case management system for our social services agency client. Working in this role, you will support the client through requirements validation and design, mocking up screens to aid client understanding in JAD sessions and developing process flows to show proposed system processes. When a functional solution is agreed upon, you will be responsible for system design documentation, including use cases and screen definitions. Later, you will be responsible for creating test cases and data and executing them to fully verify the new system.

As the Child Support Systems Business Analyst, you will be:

Performing definition of user functional requirements by translating development and/or maintenance requirements into specifications.

Participating in design validation and gap analysis sessions to validate requirements prior to the design phase.

Analyzing requirements to determine if there are any cross-functional dependencies with requirements in different functional categories.

Working with client Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to fully understand requirements.

Eliciting, analyzing, specifying, and validating the business needs of project stakeholders.

Participating in Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions in conjunction with client SMEs to determine functional design solutions to approved requirements.

Creating screen prototypes to aid in design understanding.

Creating cases, screen design documentation, and other system documentation according to standards.

Preparing reports to track quality, quantity, and efficiency.

Documenting system processes and procedures.

Designing and modifying test cases and scenarios and executes system tests.

Preparing test data for testing phases.

Assisting in training as requested.

Qualifications:

Have 5 years’ experience working as a business analyst or systems analyst.

Possess a bachelor’s degree or have equivalent related experience.

Exhibit knowledge of the project life cycle.

Display experience creating logical process flow diagrams.

Able to perform and present root cause and downstream effects analysis.

Demonstrate experience developing use cases and designing screens.

Show ability to develop and execute system test scripts and document test results.

Ability to demonstrate skill and confidence in leading design discussions with users.

Human services experience, or more specifically, child support enforcement experience preferred.

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. The approximate compensation for this position is $70,956-$92,150k per year.
