Job Description
This position is responsible for the preparation, staging, replenishment, and transport of materials in our Production Team. The overall goal for this position is to improve efficiency, productivity, and process flow by reducing downtime due to material handling, presentation, and storage of materials and finished goods.
Essential Duties Responsibilities:
• Reads production schedules, job cards, and picklists to help determine material demand and replenishment requirements for assigned areas to minimize workstation downtime
• Verifies materials physically received against picklist to ensure no inventory discrepancies or shortages
• Monitors material in all assigned areas to ensure proper presentation and replenishment
• Moves manufactured and purchased components and sub-assemblies between work cells or processes according to established schedule or sequence
• Completes material and labor transactions utilizing computer and warehouse management system software
• Accurately completes assigned items to be verified or recorded on the production order paperwork
• Safely operates pallet jack to move inventory and/or work in process
• Retrieves and organizes totes, pallets, carts, etc.
• Supports and reinforces housekeeping and 5S programs by staging product and supplies per program expectations
• Responsible for the movement of completed product from production into finished goods staging
• Counts, organizes, and transfers unprocessed bulk inventory to the warehouse
• Assists with physical inventories and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
• Attends daily production meetings when requested, and completes material handling requests from the person duties as beneficial to APL

Work Environment
The work environment for this position includes a combination of warehouse and manufacturing settings. You will be exposed to various temperatures, fumes, and loud noise in the manufacturing setting. You also follow company safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment as required.
