Job Title: Quality Technician

Job Description

The Quality Technician will work closely with Quality Engineers and quality inspectors in the lab. They will take ownership of products from specific customers and oversee the process from start to finish. The Quality Technician will conduct in-process inspections from machinists and investigate non-conforming parts throughout the manufacturing process. This role involves coaching and communicating with machinists, deburrers, engineers, and occasionally the end client. A strong understanding of client prints is crucial, and experience in medical or aerospace industries is highly beneficial due to their specific requirements and documentation processes.

Hard Skills

Strong knowledge of blueprint reading

Proficiency in GD&T from a precision manufacturing environment

Experience with hand tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges for in-process inspections

Soft Skills

Effective communication skills

Ability to coach and guide team members

Problem-solving skills

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Monticello, Minnesota.

Work Environment

Clean, updated manufacturing facility with approximately 100 employees. The facility features natural light and state-of-the-art equipment. There are walking paths available on the land behind the facility, which many employees use.
