Medical Assembler

Job Description

The Valve Assembly Operator position will support daily operations activities. The position will have responsibilities for tissue sewing operations for the assembly of the tissue heart valve. This position will support operations builds of valves to support clinical trials and R&D builds.

Hard Skills

Experience in medical device manufacturing

Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures; understand and follow verbal instructions

Ability to be cross-trained, certified, and perform all functions of this position

Knowledge of and the ability to correctly perform basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

Knowledge of and ability to follow good manufacturing practices (GMPs)

Understanding of and ability to utilize electronic data collection systems and computer software packages

Ability to prioritize work by determining the sequencing and timing of different jobs based on precedence and importance

Ability to handle and maneuver small components and parts

Ability to use microscopes

Must be able to follow gowning procedures when entering and exiting clean rooms

Help ensure clean room(s) meet standards by following the appropriate cleaning guidelines

2 years sewing experience with heart valves

4 years working with cleanroom environment, production-related systems, procedures, and ISO standards

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Maple Grove, Minnesota.

Work Environment

Working in a cleanroom environment sewing and with valves and tissues.

1st shift $25 – $28/Hour
