The Manufacturing Associate Manager is responsible for Safety, Quality, and Productivity of all departments on the assigned shift. Expectations of this role include providing strong leadership to exempt and non-exempt employees to empower individuals to achieve goals. This individual understands business operations as they execute the role to exceed customer expectations and align with GPI business, cultural, financial, and operational objectives.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include, but are not limited to the following:

Work directly with and supervise a team of Manufacturing Supervisors and production associates

Ensure Safety remains a top priority

Assures that policies, programs, standards of performance and approved objectives are understood, and everyone is held accountable

Achieve productivity by establishing and communicating clear goals, providing requisite resources to the team, engaging the team, and setting appropriate priorities and monitoring progress

Achieve desired level of engagement by providing leadership on the shift. Engagement includes listening and responding to employee issues, taking decisive actions, recognizing excellent performance, and holding employees accountable for performance and personal actions

Achieve quality and waste goals by ensuring all direct reports are properly trained on equipment, following proper procedures, performing requisite inspections, and acting upon suggested improvements

Administer, communicate, and interpret work procedures and company policies

Perform other duties, as assigned

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree or significant, closely related work experience required in lieu of degree.

Two (2)- five (5) years of manufacturing supervisory experience, required.

Continuous Improvement – Lean/Six Sigma knowledge preferred.

Proficient computer skills, experienced with Microsoft Office applications

Demonstrated ability to work independently and within teams

Pay Range: $102,270.00 – $136,395.00
