Aerotek

Job Title: Systems Engineering Technician

Job Description

Leading global supplier of test and simulation systems. During your time working here, you will learn to build, repair, diagnose, and test products related to the aerospace, automotive, and biomedical industries.

In this role, your main duties are to perform timely, efficient, and cost-effective in-house systems performance tasks such as calibration, performance testing, troubleshooting, rework, system hook-up and teardown, repairs, checkout, and customer acceptance testing. Additionally, you will be involved in on-site systems installation when necessary. This is not an assembly line position; it involves complex and highly customized manufacturing and assembly. You will promptly notify appropriate personnel of system performance deficiencies or operational problems encountered during performance testing. You will work with your supervisor and/or engineering peers to resolve problems and achieve system acceptance. There is an opportunity to travel (not mandatory) to customer sites, both domestic and foreign, to perform on-site installation, calibration, modification, or upgrades on the systems built in-house. Installation tasks may include uncrating, moving equipment to the proper location, system hook-up, testing functionality, acceptance testing, and customer operational training.
