ABOUT THIS POSITION The selected interns will work with our Algorithm Development Team to support various initiatives and projects, while gaining first-hand experience with cutting edge medical device technology. OPPORTUNITIES YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS ROLE Algorithm Development & Test Support Create and validate tools to assist in the development of physiologic signal processing algorithms Analyze physiologic data Work closely with other engineers to develop and implement new algorithms Author summary reports on investigation(s) performed Software testing/validation testing QUALIFICATIONS Required Experience: 2 years undergraduate schooling (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field Programming in Python and/or C/C Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to understand complex systems Preferred Experience: Undergraduate or graduate research experience Experience with Matlab Experience with frequency domain signal analysis Signal processing (such as digital filtering of signals) Inspire Medical Systems provides equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, creed, sex, national origin, age, disability, marital status, familial status, sexual orientation, status regarding public assistance, membership or activity in a local commission, military or veteran status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable federal, state, and local laws.
