Job Title: Construction Assemblers
Job Description
Under supervision, assist in mechanical and component assembly and installation using hand and power tools. This includes attaching moving parts and sub-assemblies to basic assembly units, adjusting tension on nuts and bolts or positioning parts using hand tools and measuring instruments to set specific clearance between moving and stationary parts. Perform safe and skilled operation of hand and power tools of all types, use small mechanical hoists and a variety of other equipment and instruments. Rework, repair, or replace damaged parts or assemblies, which may include removing spots and smoothing surfaces to fit, trim, or clean parts using hand or power tools. Move machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Plymouth, Minnesota.
Work Environment
Start time is 7:00 am; workers are expected to be at their work location ready to work at 7:00 am, which means arriving at 6:45 am. The workday ends at 3:30 pm. There is a 30-minute unpaid lunch at 12:00 pm and a 15-minute break at 10:00 am. There is a refrigerator in the lunchroom to store workers food; most employees bring a lunch and often grill out as a team. Workers are responsible for proper safety attire, including steel-toe boots, cotton pants, and short or long-sleeved shirts. Safety vests, safety glasses, and hard hats (when required) are supplied by the company. Jewelry of any kind is not allowed, which includes chain rings, keys, wallets from pockets, necklaces, rings, etc. Hair must be secured tightly from the workers face. Cell phones and headsets are not allowed on the work floor and are only permitted during breaks or emergencies approved by a manager.
