Masking Operator

Summary/Objective:The Masking Operator is responsible for the making, unmasking, and touch-up of customer products before and after the paint process. This individual must be able to follow electronic and verbal instructions, have the skill set necessary to correctly mask and unmask product, along with performing the final touch-up as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
– Perform masking and unmasking of parts.
– Part Mark parts as necessary.
– Preparatory duties of components prior to paint.
– Support and perform tasks in the paint area.
– Final touch up of components.
– Support other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
– Ability to read and understand process instructions
– Ability to measure dimensional areas for masking per instructions.
– Computer data entry skills required
– Physically able to handle light to medium weight (up to 50 pounds)
– Ability to handle light to medium items repetitively, without damage to the component or its finish.
– Job requires extensive periods of sitting and standing while performing tasks.
– Must have good interpersonal skills working with people in a team environment.
