The City of Minot is accepting applications for the position of Building and Grounds Worker in the Property Maintenance Division of the Public Works Department, with an application deadline of Friday, October 25th 2024 at 4:00PM. This position is open to all qualified internal and external applicants.
All qualified applicants will be required to write the civil service exam for this position, scheduled for Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Minot Municipal Auditorium, Room 201. (Enter through Door #2 on South Side)
Nature of
Work
This is manual and semi-skilled custodial and grounds work in the care, cleaning and maintenance of assigned city buildings and property. Please see attached job description for complete details.
Education, Experience, Other
Requirements
– Graduation from high school and practical knowledge of, or some experience in, building maintenance and Groundskeeping work; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
– Possession of a valid North Dakota driver license.
Compensation and
Benefits
The assigned salary range for Building and Grounds Worker under the [2024 City of Minot Annual Pay Plan is a Grade 45, with an annual base salary range of $38,530-$57,197, with a starting hourly wage of $18.52 per hour.
This is a full time, FLSA non-exempt position eligible for overtime.
