What were seeking
The Food Safety Specialist will be responsible for operations within food safety auditing accounts, daily, monthly, and annual quality assurance for our food safety and sanitation auditing platforms. This role will review daily audits, identify auditor calibration opportunities, corrective actions, and training needs for our food safety auditors. This Specialist will design and conduct web based or in person corrective action training and follow-up with auditors and managers. Additionally, the Food Safety Specialist will support food safety accounts, sales opportunities, demo audits, new form creation, and will periodically moderate online Food Safety Manager training courses.
Other responsibilities include maintaining a national food safety database of regulatory requirements for training and certification, various training tools design and execution, maintenance for audit customer management hierarchy, form builds, data management support, as well as other duties as assigned by management.
This is a remote position within the United States with ability to travel approximately 30%.
What youll do
- Food Safety Audit quality assurance functions, corrective actions, and communication of quality issues
- Design and maintain training and instruction for corrective action, auditors, and other areas
- Food safety account support and new account sales support
- Maintain national food safety training and certification regulatory database
- Maintenance for client management hierarchy for audit platform and other data support
- Other duties as assigned by management
What qualifications we require
- Associates Degree with a minimum of 10 years experience with programs for retail food safety & sanitation clients and demonstrated knowledge of the FDA Food Code
- Additional consideration for Bachelors degree in environmental health, food science, food safety, or microbiology with 5 years experience
- Certified Professional – Food Safety (CP-FS) credential from NEHA
- Ability to travel approximately 30% of time

Pay Range:$73,500.00-102,900.00
