Embedded Project Manager
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Embedded Plant Manager is an experienced project leader and is accountable for overall project implementation activities at the client site. They will be responsible for executing projects that meet the clients objectives while coordinating engineering activities. The Embedded Project Manager is passionate, high energy, and results-oriented with a creative and analytical mind. You are the focal point for the efforts required to execute projects over the project life cycle.
Meet with the client to assess, define, and clarify the requirements of operational and maintenance projects that will need to be executed at the plant level.
Field Verification of the installed Equipment and updating the plant layouts for the site.
Responsible for being an onsite resource assisting all disciplines in efforts to as built the plant installation and update drawings, models, and design documents.
Responsible for coordinating project requirements and scope to contractors as an advocate for the client to ensure quality, cost, and schedule are met.
Look for opportunities for added value through application of Value Improving Practices.
Coordinate activities with plant operations and maintenance to ensure that projects can be completed with minimal disruption to the production schedule.
Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project.
Ensure compliance with all client policies, procedures, safety, and technical standards.
Monitor and approve all budgeted project expenditures and manage all project funds.
Create and manage schedule and ensure that the project deliverables are on time; ensure quality assurance procedures are followed and completed throughout the execution of the project.
Lead, motivate, and coach cross-discipline project teams, ensuring positive team environment and facilitating conflict resolution.
Establish and maintain team communication at both the client and home office.
Schedule and facilitate all project team meetings and distribute accurate meeting minutes.
Utilize standard forms and reports to document project activities and project status.
Ensure that all project information is appropriately distributed, documented, and saved.
Evaluate the status of the project as compared to the planning phase and determine causes of any deviations; Communicate and reach agreement on any change order needs with the client.
Represent and balance the clients and the organizations interests.
QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES
Education Years of Experience Software Experience
Bachelors degree in chemical engineering required

Experience in chemical industry preferred
Knowledge of PandIDs and PFDs
MS Suite
SKILLS
Strong competencies in planning, project management, leadership, and organization
Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to produce and present clear, concise, and professionally written communications and presentations.
