Job Title: PLC Technician
Job Description
We are adding several experienced Controls Technicians to our Distribution and Fulfillment team to support new projects. As a PLC Technician, you will design, develop, modify, and evaluate components and processes used in automated warehouses. You will determine design approaches and parameters, analyze equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results. You will select components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability, and complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. You may also interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.

Assist in all on-site commissioning efforts
Utilize Human Machine Interface (HMI) products such as Wonderware, RSView, and FactoryTalk View
Implement basic PLC and HMI programs
Review electrical designs and provide accurate as-built drawings

Provide site engineering support
Complete system acceptance testing

This is a contract position with a duration of 3 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a 100% Travel Position – after training onsite in IL for 2-3 weeks.
Work Environment
You will work with MHS employees, customer representatives, and third-party vendors to ensure all aspects of a project are considered during both the design and commissioning phases. You will individually, or as part of a team, commission complex automated systems, provide site engineering support, and complete system acceptance testing.
