Job Title: Sr. Maintenance Technician – Team Lead

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Maintenance Technician – Team Lead with extensive experience in CNC maintenance. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience working with CNC machines, specifically Siemens Controls, Giddings & Lewis Boring Mills, and Cincinnati Mills. This role requires diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machines, as well as a deep understanding of mechanical and electrical components. Responsibilities include installing ball screws, fitting bearings, understanding machine tool geometry, and rebuilding spiral and gear boxes. The candidate must have a strong experience milling, drilling, and reaming, and be proficient with hand and pneumatic tools.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Environment

Large parts, machine shop production environment. Initial work schedule is Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts, transitioning to AWS schedule once the project is fully staffed. Physical demands include standing, walking, handling materials, climbing, stooping, and lifting over 50 pounds. Work environment is typically very loud, with exposure to hazardous materials, greasy or slippery floors, and occasional outside weather conditions.
