Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $16 – $16  / hour This range is a goodfaith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employees pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.

What youll be doing as a Garbage Truck Helper:

Ride on the back of garbage or recycling collection truck and collecting solid waste on a designated route

Direct driver when pulling out in traffic and backing up, and directing incoming vehicles to dumping area at solid waste disposal facilities

Check operating and safety conditions of vehicles, perform minor servicing, and report needed repairs or servicing

Assist driver with various tasks during waste runs

Available shifts:

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day), 2nd Shift (Evening)

Job requirements:

Able to lift up to 50 pounds, and able to carry, reach, bend, push, pull, and climb

Flexibility to work in all weather conditions
