Infosys is looking for a Senior Java Microservices Consultant. As a Senior Java Microservices Consultant, In this role you will be required to provide consulting leadership and subject matter expertise to the IT teams. You should thrive on diving deep into complex technology environments and express these as industry standard solution and well-articulated solution narratives to senior leadership levels. You are expected to stay updated on latest technology trends, spend time to understand the business domain, self-manage high intensity context switching between competing priorities and demonstrate a sense of urgency to deliver results.

Required Qualifications :

– Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
– At least 4 years of relevant Information Technology experience
– Location for this position Richardson(TX). This position may require travel and/or relocation to client location

Preferred Qualifications :

– Atleast 3 years of hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud Netflix, Spring Hibernate/Spring Data for creating Java based microservices
– Experience in Unit test automation using frameworks like Junit, TestNG and Mockito
– Ability to create OpenAPI specification and use it for top-down and bottom-up generation of code/specification
– Working knowledge of Jenkins, Maven/Gradle and Git
– Hands on experience in developing microservices with any NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, Document DB etc.) with a good understanding of data sharding and read/write optimizations
– Working knowledge on OAuth 2.0 grant types and OpenID Connect to secure microservices
– Understanding on container technology and container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes/PCF). Ability to comprehend how the microservices are packaged and deployed into any one of the platforms. (For example: Docker File, K8s Deployment and Config Maps etc.)
– Hands on experience working with Microservice Patterns (circuit breaker, service discovery, service registration, Api gateway), 12 factor apps
– Good to have experience using messaging components – Kafka Consumer/Producer development,
– Good to have experience in developing, deploying and monitoring applications and packages in AWS
