Here’s What You Need
Nursing Diploma Nursing is required or
Associates Degree Nursing is required or
Bachelors Degree Nursing is preferred
1 Year Experience as a clinical nurse in an acute care setting. is required
2 Years Experience as a clinical nurse in an acute care setting. is preferred
RN – Registered Nurse Upon Hire is required And
BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Upon Hire is required And
CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days is required And
ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days is required And
NRP – Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program 90 Days is required And
PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support 90 Days is required or
ENPC – Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course 6 Months is required And
TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course 12 Months is required

This role directly assists leadership on a particular unit or units and shift, by offering staff guidance and support, maintaining a clean and safe work environment and ensuring unit operational tasks are completed. Individuals in this role will demonstrate:
Decision Making and Critical Thinking – Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Patient Safety – Knowledge of and experience with tools, techniques and practices for ensuring a safe and harm-free environment for patients; ability to recognize risks and take steps to minimize them.
