Dealers Truck Equipment Co. Inside Sales Position:

At Dealers Truck Equipment Co., LLC., our purpose of Building Excellence Everyday means being a caring, customer-focused team player who strives for excellence while getting the job done.

As an inside sales person, you will serve an important role for our entire branch by supporting our outside salesperson(s) and communicating with our team of inside people to produce a quality finished product and a positive experience for our customers. You also will be vital in building relationships and providing excellent customer service as you deal directly with our customers.

Responsibilities:

– Support outside salespeople with quotes and information pertaining to body/equipment needs, chassis availability, order status and other inquiries when needed

– Answer phone calls and emails associated with body/equipment needs and chassis pool availability

– Respond back to customers in a timely manner

– Develop quotes for body and equipment installations

– Serve our walk-in and call-in customers relating to body/equipment needs which includes recommending solutions for their needs and quoting

– Generate and process accurate work orders for the shop in a timely manner

– Communicate well with parts department on parts needed for upcoming jobs

– Communicate well with production manager and shop on needs of customers and necessary details on existing jobs

Requirements:

– High school diploma

– At least 3 years in inside sales.

– Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office including Microsoft Excel.

– High level of responsiveness to inquiries and request

– Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a positive attitude

– Ability to communicate well verbally and written

– Ability to multi-task, prioritize and carry out task to completion

– Strong analytical and organizational skills

– Normal standing, walking, bending needed in the office, shop and on the equipment yard during all seasons
